Newsletter Subscriber is a free Joomla! module and plugin, which offers a simple name & email sign-up form for your newsletter, notifying you by email for any new subscription, and saving subscribers to a text file.
To use it you add {newsletter_subscriber} into an article for the plugin, or just publish the NS module.
Please note: After installing, you need to enable the extension to use it.
NS is very simple to use and all user text is customizable.
It is lightweight, and you can use it to create your mailing list from Joomla! without having to setup a more sophisticated newsletter system.
