Some general questions

Dear Shortlist Developers,

I purchased your extension to try out, but I have a few questions regarding its setup and function.

When I publish the module in user profile, I set it to normal (or to list), but the module never displays the article image or intro test as in the demo version.
Can you please tell me how to achieve including the title and intro text for each entry?

Also, I have been able to change the color of the "Delete From Favorites" button, but no matter what I try, I still cannot change the color of the "Add to Favorites" button. Can you please tell me how to change button colors?

Thank you.

Hello Greg.
Thank you for posting.

MyShortlist automatically uses the intro image of each Joomla article. If you are using another component, that may not be available at the moment.
Although, MyShortlist is fully customizable and new features can easily be added by overriding the default_item.php file or (component-name)_item.php file.

As for changing the colors of the buttons, you only need to use CSS. MyShortlist automatically includes some Joomla and some bootstrap standard classes, so you should make sure that your template sets the colors for all buttons using both the Joomla and the bootstrap classes, if you use bootstrap.

One way that should probably work for the Add to Favorites button, is using this class in your CSS:
.btn-primary { background-color: #FF0000; }
Please change the hex color above to your desired one.

Thanks again.

I added a module suffix of "favorites". Then I added the following to the custom css box:

}

.favorites {
background: #ffffff;

}

This changed the remove button. But regardless of whatever else I try, including the script you provided, the favorite this button color will not change.
I tried:
.btn-primary { background-color: #FF0000; }
.favorites .btn-primary { background-color: #FF0000; }
etc

Still same color though...

As for My Shortlist automatically adding images and intro text in Joomla, I'm using K2 and in my case (perhaps for that reason, though according to documentation the module should work in K2 as well) they're not included. I really have no idea how to do template overrides in such a way. Is there any way you can please help me to add the image and intro text while using k2? I can provide any information you might need to do so.

Many thanks,
GSV

Now to think of it, I'm also using BT Social Connect, which overrides the k2 profile.

Since I'm attempting to post My Shortlist on user profile pages, this could be relevant.

Hi again Greg.
Please email me directly, including a URL to your site, so that I can check the CSS.

As for K2, yes, that feature is not yet implemented for K2 items, but I can happily do this for you.
Please include this in your email, also.

Thanks again.
