Updates don't work?

Hello!

I've installed myshortlist on a client's site and configured it correctly, but every time there's an update, it doesn't work unless I download it and install it manually.

Can you please help me fix this?

Hello Crystal and thank you for posting!

You are right. Since version 1.10, there was a bug in applying the update details to the update site URL, so the automatic Joomla updater failed.
This affects only users that first installed version 1.10. That's why we didn't get it earlier.
I have fixed this bug yesterday. To fix this issue, please follow these steps:
1. Update manually to version 1.10.1308 (via downloading and installing)
2. Go to MyShortlist > Lists (or any other back-end view).
If you see a message notifying that the Updater Details have been updated, then it has been fixed.
If not, click "Options" on the top right.
3. Fill in the required details in the Updater Options (if you haven't done so already)
4. Click Save & Close. A message should appear notifying you that the Updater details have been updated.
