Add/Edit/Delete buttons on subscriber list was created by Trevor
Hi Christopher
In order to limit the number of people accessing the back-end admin, would it be possible to provide Add, Edit and Delete buttons to the front-end subscribers list? Ideally these would be enabled or disabled in the menu settings.
Thanks

Hello Trevor and thank you for posting.
In order to completely avoid any potential security issues, we haven't implemented these actions in the front-end, yet.
Can you please elaborate a little on how these buttons will be useful in your use-case?
That would help other readers, including myself, to better understand why to include this functionality.
Thanks again.

Hi Christopher
We want to have a facility on the front-end where a user with the correct permissions (the newsletter manager) can manage newsletters and subscriber lists. We already have the facility to manage the newsletters from the front-end but not the subscribers. I didn't want allow the newsletter manager into the back-end.
I tried creating a subscriber list page with an NS Module in the sidebar which worked OK for adding new subscribers but it didn't hemp for editing or deleting subscribers.
For security I thought that these buttons could be turned on or off in the menu options.
Does that make sense?
Best regards
Trevor

Yes, I guess it does.
I will note this down for implementation, but I cannot guarantee when or if this will be implemented, due to the large amount of incoming requests.
If you would like to discuss the possibility of implementation on demand, feel free to send me an email at mavrosxristoforos@gmail.com.
Thanks again!
