NS Pro question about already sent newsletters etc.

1 year 2 months ago #1 by Clemens
Sorry, but I cannot post in the correct subforum of NS Pro. It seems, that my access is limited to SimpleQuiz forum, although I have just payed the licence for NS Pro.

My NS Pro questions:
Let's assume, I have 40 subscribers in one list. After I had sent them a newsletter, I got a bounce of one subscriber, because I have mistyped his mail address. Of course, I have corrected the mail address and now I want to send him this newsletter in a new try. How can I do this without sending the newsletter to all the other subscribers of this list again? (All these subscribers were my friends and therefor I could put them in subscription with their verbal consent.)

Let's assume, I have 20 subscribers in one list. All have successfully received a newsletter for an event next month. If there will come in some new subscribers for this list, I want to send them this newsletter, just in order to inform them also about the event. How can I do this without sending the newsletter to all the other subscribers of this list again?

Hi again Clemens. I have added the ability in your account to post to the NS Pro forum, and also moved the topic here.

Dealing with these two cases are different.
A) If you want to send a newsletter to some specific subscribers after sending, then you can use the NS Pro Toolkit. In the Newsletter Testing tab, you can use the tool called "Send Newsletter to Selected Subscribers".
You may select the newsletter, select as many subscribers as you want and send it to them.

B) When you finish sending a newsletter, NS Pro keeps track of the last subscriber ID to receive the newsletter.
When new subscribers arrive, the "Pending" column of the Newsletter manager will state the number of subscribers that have not received it yet, explaining that they probably subscribed after the newsletter was sent.
So, in order to send the newsletter to these new subscribers, you just have to click "Send", and NS Pro will continue from where it stopped.
Important: In order for this to work, you must not click "Clear Sending Status". This will reset the newsletter, and clicking "Send" will send it to all subscribers from the beginning.

Hope this helps.
