I've asked my client. He is sending welcome emails series and regular emails at the same time.

Hello Pablo.
I'm happy to tell you that I just released NS Pro 3.3.2863, which includes Newsletter Actions.
In the newsletter edit page, you can assign certain actions in a newsletter, like assigning or removing lists based on events.
Currently supported events include: when a newsletter is sent to a subscriber, when a newsletter is opened and when a specific link is clicked.
I hope this helps your client manage sending welcome emails better.
