Thanks for tip about form ID. That was it! So now I'm going to play with it a little bit and see what I can come up with. It should not be problem to embed the module inside a page builder element. In this case we are using Smart Slider 3 fullpage mode for a homepage.
Much appreciated,

I'm glad this was sorted out. You should be able to embed the module anywhere. However, please keep in mind that modules are dynamic content, while articles (and sometimes page builder items) are considered static items and get cached for pages that have cached enabled. Including dynamic content in static items in Joomla sometimes leads to problems.

I hear you when you talk about bloatware. It's great that you are trying to keep it simple. So many, many templates are 98% bloat. I have spent a lot of hours paring them back to only what we need. So now with Joomla we use JCH Optimizer to eliminate bloat on load. WordPress has WPRocket which is almost as good. I don't mind writing some code when the developer gives us an easy way and we don't have to use the cumbersome custom.css file. Looks like you've done that so now I'm having a look. Feeling more optimistic! Take care,

Thanks James!
Let me know if you need any assistance, and we can turn it into a very cool form within minutes, as long as I'm online.

I did get it to work but it looked plain and unappealing, so I looked at the code and saw that everything is driven by bootstrap.css, which I know yes is economical but makes customization a nightmare due to all the code overrides we have to write. I've had to cut that way back because it's a poor use of our time on behalf of the client. Even the most simple changes like fonts and sizes and container backgrounds etc are very hard and laborious. So while I wish you good luck, I had to conclude we can't use this, because today web design is all about razzle, dazzle and dynamism, big, bold and beautiful. I'm sure there's a place for this technology; it just isn't right for us. There seem to be a lot of Joomla people out here still who write code as a form of recreation. We would like a refund, thank you. I am uninstalling the extension and deleting it from my hard drive.

I understand what you mean. That's why I said that we could make it look awesome in a few minutes together.
However, please consider that Joomla itself is driven by bootstrap.css. The vast majority of Joomla templates include it by default, as well as most page builders.
So, we have just decided to assume bootstrap is loaded, rather than loading it again in Rapid Contact Ex. If it was loaded by default, this conversation would be about speed and optimization, rather than styling the form.
I can send you a few lines of CSS to include in the Custom CSS option that will make the form look much better.
If you insist on receiving your money back, let me know and I will issue the refund.
Thanks again.
