Problem in several backend functions was created by John Bongiovanni
Simple Quiz version 1.12.1450
When I try to access Quizzes, Questions, or Toolkit in the backend, I get an error (see screenshot). This happens on both Joomla 4 and Joomla 5 (the latter with the compatibility plug-in enabled)

It's 2:24am here but I couldn't help but reply to this.
We have fixed this error. I released an erroneous version and deleted it right away. I do not understand how this reached your site.
Given the fact that I am currently not in position to offer a better fix, please download the attached file, unzip and place it in administrator/components/com_simplequiz/helpers/simplequiz.php
In the morning I will check to see how you got this version in the first place.
