Hi Christopher,

Sorry for bugging you with another question.

In the mailmessage with the quiz results, as well as in the displayed results on the site, the questions with answers are re-ordered (without my request or setting) so, that the wrongly answered ones get on top and are followed with the correctly answered questions thereafter.

I would like to see that the same order is used as in the quiz, when the questions are posed.
So the candidates can more easily follow there own results (in the same order).

The suggestion (stated above...) that the wrong order is chosen each time according correct or incorrect answers seems to be wrong.
The order is wrong each time in the exact same way. So each time the results (as an example) are in the same wrong order: 3 - 4 - 5 - 1 - 2

But the order is still wrong each time, though...

Ben

Hi again Ben.
Have you enabled Random order in the Quiz edit page?

That seems very unlikely to be happening, because the questions are loaded in the same piece of code for both the question and the answer mode.

Can you post some screenshots?

Hi Christopher,

The "Random" setting is: No.
On the attached image, (04.png) it shows the numbers 6 and 7 questions of the quiz.

Both have been given a wrong answer, but that apparently has nothing to do with it.

In the results after the quiz (as in the mailmessage with results) the number 6 question is listed as number 1 (see attached image 03b.png)

Thanks for your time,
Ben

As a further help in solving this, I would like to add the following...

When I started to create this quiz, I inserted some questions, I believe it was 3.
Then I changed the order of the questions before further proceeding on adding other questions.

The adding of further questions was done by "duplicating" the last one.

It may have had influence on the cause of this problem.
(although, of course, the order number should be followed at all times and all instances)

Hope it helpes,
Ben

Hi again Ben.
Yes! That helped a lot!

Finally, I found out that in the front-end, the questions were not loaded in the same place for both the question and answer mode. And as you correctly noticed, they were loaded in order of creation, not in the order they were actually placed afterwards.

I have fixed this now and the update will be released within the next hour.
Thanks again.

Hi Christopher,

Just now downloaded and installed SimpleQuiz version 1.8.464
And.... my questions and comments have all been answered.

The only item left is the possibility to select a choice of order in the control panel by clicking on the title of the column.
But I believe that is too much to ask, as it will most probably be more in the hands of Joomla core programming.

So, thank you so much for your great help.
